Ready to "Stop...and think it ooooohhhverr!" Yep. That's right. Heading to Winstar in a couple of weeks to see Diana Ross in concert. When I was young and single I didn't have the money to go see all the performers that I have been blessed to see in concert the last few years. It wouldn't have mattered. I was much too serious and responsible to head out to a concert venue to see the likes of Diana Ross, Franki Valli, Neil Sedaka, Kenny Rogers, Moody Blues, Air Supply, KC and the Sunshine Band, Three Dog Night, etc., etc., etc.
When I married and had children I had too many responsibilities and too little money to spend on traveling, gambling and attending concerts. Now, however, I am retired, have a little bit of cash and see the value in playing and enjoying life. So....off we go. We have been to some great concerts, too! Either my memory is flawed (which is entirely possible) or most of these performers sound almost the same as they did when I was listening to them "back in the day." So, I'm eager to see if Diana Ross can pull it off the way the others have. And, yeah, I'm a little eager to see if the luck that I experienced at Choctaw will carry over to Winstar. Hey, no harm in positive thinking!!
