I decided to create this blog to chronicle our journeys whether they be by RV, cruise ship, airplane, train...or what the heck, even walking if that should EVER be the case. I'm certain that no one else really cares about my journeys. That's okay. I created this for me. Something to help me bask in the memories of good times. Need I mention that I have the memory of a comatose gnat? So even if I am the only person who ever reads a word contained herein...I am OK with that.
As I compose this first entry we are preparing to head out in the motorhome for almost two weeks of fun in Nevada and California. We were invited to join our son and SIL in Las Vegas to celebrate their September birthdays. We will head out on Saturday, September 15th, for Vegas. I've been to Vegas twice before. I love the bright lights and sights of "Sin City." Ronnie...not so much. There is so much to see and do and I don't think I could ever tire of "people watching" in Vegas. Once the boys head back to Texas (via airlines) Ron and I will continue on to San Diego. Neither of us has ever been to California before so we thought, "Since we're this close..." We plan to dangle our toes in the water at the beach so that we can say we've been to the Pacific. After playing in SD for a couple of days we will head home to begin the mad rush of the holiday season and wrapping up 2012.
So, be prepared to be entertained (or bored) with vacay pics and ramblings because we love to travel and I love to ramble.
